You guys should remember Emily & Cody from my previous E-Session blogpost. Now it’s time to blog their beautiful, DIY, hipster & organic wedding. They chose to get married at the beautiful Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. This venue is a photographers paradise, very unique architecture, the winter, their wedding theme and lastly the beautiful couple totally added a new perspective. Thanks for considering me to document your special day guys.

Last but not the least a huge thanks to my good friends and associates Julia Franzosa & Amr Abdallah for all their help. Also a huge word of mention to my Vendor friends for making the couples Wedding vision a reality.

Here you go folks, enjoy my first Chicago winter wedding!

The Lincoln Hotel had so much personality to it, so we couldn’t pass it!

Voila… we finally at the Nature Museum :)

I fell head over heels for these shoes, I wouldn’t even in my dreams have thought these two colors can gel so well together!

I should’ve Photoshoped two more birds in there to match up the bridal party number LOL :)

Light falls off here in no time, thanks to those flashlites!

Gotta LOVE those organic touch with the DIY decor, good job Emily & Cody, that’s a lot of work indeed!

I gotta agree this was totally unique. Instead of lighting candles, since Cody is into Organic Chemistry these guys decided to paint a tree on litmus paper LOL, very creative :). Reminded me of my sucky performance in high school Chemistry HAHA :)

Don’t miss their slideshow:

Working in a video driven field I often find that pictures rarely live up to the true beauty of an event. Such was not the case with your breath taking work. I was at my nephew Cody’s authentic wedding to the beautiful Emily and you captured every color and mood. Of course you did have the perfect medium and a flawless canvas! :)
